This work continues with behind- the-scene tours at SeaWorld Orlando, offering guests the chance to get up-close with the animals and gain a better under- standing of its animal rescue program. With a legacy of animal rescue spanning more than five decades, the SeaWorld Rescue and Animal Care teams have aided more than 31,000 ill, injured and orphaned animals in need, giving them a second chance on life. The Behind-the-Scenes Tour allows guests to discover how SeaWorld animal experts care for rescued manatees and sea turtles, plus you get to touch a shark and interact with a penguin. Ten per cent of your 75-minute tour admission—$29 ages 10 and up; $9 ages three to nine—will be donated to the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conserva- tion Fund to support conservation projects around the world. A pre-gate opening event, the 45-minute Killer Whale Up-Close Tour invites guests to learn more about the park's killer whales. Led by SeaWorld trainers, you'll gain a better understanding of the work that SeaWorld does to educate and inspire. Prices start at $79 for ages three and up. The exclusive, trainer-guided Dolphins Up-Close Tour offers guests the chance to interact with Atlantic bottlenose dolphins and learn some of the hand signals trainers use to communicate with these mammals. Pricing starts at $45 for ages 10 and up; $25 for ages three to nine. Spend some up-close time with bot- tlenose dolphins at Dolphin Encounter, including a three- to five-minute personal dolphin interaction. The 60-minute experi- ence starts at $15 for ages three and up. Go behind the scenes at Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin for the Penguins Up-Close Tour to experience the rare oppor- tunity to interact with and touch a penguin. On this 45-minute walking tour, guests learn what it takes to care for these unique birds. Seasonal pricing starts at $69 for ages 10 and up; $49 for ages three to nine. At the Sea Lions Up-Close Tour, guests can meet one of the hilarious stars of Sea Lion High and take part in the show's grand finale by helping feed buckets of fish to sea lions and harbour seals at Pacific Point Pre- serve. Pricing starts at $44 for ages 10 and up; $24 for ages three to nine. Enjoy behind-the-scenes action during the hour-long Beluga and Walrus Up-Close Tour, which teaches you all about seals, beluga whales and walruses. Come see what makes these frigid friends so fascinating for $59 for ages eight and up.
